North-West London and Berkshire.
Thames Valley University's Centre for Evidence-Based
Nursing and Midwifery links with healthcare providers across London
and the Thames Valley, which comprise some of the most diverse
social and economic populations in England. The Centre has
well-established links with local NHS Trusts, and works with
nurses and midwives from the acute and primary healthcare sectors to
develop, implement and evaluate evidence to promote, support and
sustain best practice.
A
collaborating centre of the Joanna Briggs
Institute (JBI), the role of the Centre is also to enable local
clinicians to develop their skills and expertise in evidence

focus on priority areas related to infection prevention and control,
management of HIV/AIDS, wound care, management of lymphoedema,
